Taking a break

This post I'm taking a break from the closer report and doing something completely different. I'm gonna post one of my teams... heheheh

PITCHERS

CP--Francisco Cordero - Not bad, good team, and great K possibility
CP--Derrick Turnbow - Just a Closer to help me get higher in the saves category
CP--Chad Cordero - Leader in saves last year, predictions for this year are high
CP--Huston Street - Just got the Closer duty last year and had great numbers to help him keep the spot
CP--Jason Isringhausen - Great team and Izzy has always been good
CP--Jose Valverde - Again, just got the closer duty last year he's on my team for saves and strikeouts
CP--Keith Foulke - Was out almost all year last season because of an injury I believe
SP--Kerry Wood - Injured last season, too
SP--Roy Oswalt - Descent team and good K pitcher
These following pitchers are on the bench for reasons I will explain later
Bench-SP--Jon Garland - Made the All-Star team last season but I'm not sure if he can keep it up this year
Bench-SP--John Patterson - I have him only for his strikeout ratio
Bench-SP--Rich Harden - This guy is good in almost every way. all except for Injury.

BATTERS
Catcher--Ivan Rodriguez - I picked my catcher too late this time...
First Baseman--Paul Konerko - Predicting another great season for this championship-team first baseman.
Second Baseman--Alfonso Soriano - I'm glad i got this guy, he has a chance to get 30-30 (steals and Homers) numbers every year.
Third Baseman--Eric Chavez - I had this guy last year and he did terrible for so long I thought that his slump would never end. HE OWES ME BIG! I dropped him right when he was starting up again.
Shortstop--Jose Reyes - People are talking about this guy maybe getting 70 steals. this season and I've always thought this guy would have a big year. maybe this is the one.
OF--Bob Abreu - easy 30-30 season this year if he doesn't slump like he did last season.
OF--Grady Sizemore - Had his Breakout season last year. Actually it was more like the end of last year.
OF--Torii Hunter - Has a different roster this season with the twins trading everyone.
OF--Willy Taveras - Got him for his steals, mostly.
OF--Jermaine Dye - Did well towards the end of last season. like Grady.
2B/SS--Brian Roberts - Had a great season last year. this guy was really a breakout player that NO ONE suspected.
1B/3B--Chipper Jones - Just picked this guy up off the waivers (Free Agents).
Utility--Preston Wilson - This guy has moved two teams in his last since after the All-Star break last year. but somehow he did well after he moved away from Denver.
IR--None

-I had alot of closers on this team partly because I feel I needed more on this team this year because I unintentionally Had NONE on my team last year. I also partly got a lot because i'm dueling for saves with another player in the league.
-The reason I have starters on the bench is because they don't have a chance if they don't start that day andif I have position players on the bench and they hit a homerun then you'll get disappointed.

Comments:
O.K. Having read your complete analysis of your favorites, here are some of mine

ss Juan Castro
Having a good season for a 35 yr old who has been in the minors most of his career.

2B Luis Castillo
You don't need TWO good legs to have a great season. He can play with one leg tied behind his back.

1B Justin Morneau
Here's a guy who can strike out with power. Don't let that .193 average fool you.

3B Juan Batista
His batting strategy is to make the pitcher think he's going to hit the ball into the third base dugout. Works every time.

OF Jason Kubal
No else in the country has him on their team. A real sleeper.
JASON...JASON...WAKE UP

P Kyle Lohse Another "nobody has him" sleeper. He added the "h" to his last name to avoid bad karma.

These player are guaranteed to put your team in first place. OH..wait.. I'm holding the paper upside down.
